MULTI-PHASE SUPPORT PLAN

Phases at a Glance

Your gift moves one clear milestone across the line. Unused funds roll forward.

Terms on this page: Pilot = small community trial · MVP = First working version

PHASE 1 • CURRENT

Foundation & Launch

Get the core infrastructure and resources in place so we can build out “exhibit” areas across multiple platforms: digital and traditional/analog publication. What your gift powers:

  • Fund core staffing and professional services (legal, accounting).
  • Publish the 15-page waking-words.org and open donor flow; begin scaffolding wwmow.org.
  • Open the living archive (intake + starter index).
  • Release first core pieces: 8–12 Shorts and 6–8 practices.
Milestone: Support hub live; first materials published.

PHASE 2 • NEXT

Curation & Publishing

Move the legacy “exhibits” from drafts to shareable form.
  • Deep-curate priority journals/artifacts; expand the index.
  • Grow social channels like & Patreon with a steady cadence.
  • Set up the crowdsourcing framework (submissions, permissions).
  • Creative prototypes: theme music, podcast pilot, PYGMO book dummies (6–12 titles).
  • Book series My Waking Words Experience: essays & stories in layout and editing support.
  • Add fractional staff to handle growth and compliance.
Milestone: Archive index usable; first prototypes in hand.

PHASE 3 • NEAR FUTURE

Exhibits & Community Promotion

Turn the work outward—exhibits live, pilots running.
  • Publish exhibit content to wwmow.org.
  • Release Shorts & Starters across social media.
  • Build app prototypes for WLHWD and PYGMO; run two community trials.
  • Soft-launch store (signals/gear) to grow supporters.
  • Scale staffing for moderation, production, and support.
Milestone: 2 pilots in the wild; MVPs in hands.
